PRAYER FOR YOUR CHURCH

Lord, I lift up my pastor to You. Thank You for his servant’s heart. Keep him from losing heart when ministry gets tough. Help him prove faithful with the things you have entrusted to him. Teach him Your ways so that he knows You and finds favor with You as He leads us. Keep him open and honest before You and help him to represent the truth plainly. (2 Cor. 4:1; 1 Cor. 4:1-3 Ex. 33:13)

Though designed specifically for the person in a local church (pastor or layperson) who has been given the task of leading prayer, the site and network is much broader than that. If you are in any type of ministry in your church, and have a heart for encouraging others to grow in prayer, this is for you. Pastors, small group leaders, intercessors, elders, youth and children's workers, worship leaders--anyone who leads and wants prayer to be central to what they do--will benefit from joining the CPLN.
