PRAYER FOR YOUR CHURCH

Lord, I lift up my pastor to You. Thank You for his servant’s heart. Keep him from losing heart when ministry gets tough. Help him prove faithful with the things you have entrusted to him. Teach him Your ways so that he knows You and finds favor with You as He leads us. Keep him open and honest before You and help him to represent the truth plainly. (2 Cor. 4:1; 1 Cor. 4:1-3 Ex. 33:13)

The Greek term for saved (“What must I do to be saved?” Acts 16:30) has several dictionary meanings. Saved can refer to healing from physical illness, help (deliverance) from difficult or dangerous circumstances, or hope from the assurance of heaven. Use each definition as a prayer focus.

Sing several upward focused Prayer Songs

Read Acts 16:16-34

Spend time praying on each of these topics. Incorporate songs, scripture, silence, and supplication

Healing: Pray for people who are sick or suffering

Help: Petition the Lord on behalf of those who face difficult or dangerous circumstances

Hope: Pray for the eternal salvation of those who do not know Jesus
