The Saturation Point
There are a lot of good books out there. But every couple of
years a book comes out that makes a greater impact than the others. I believe Prayer Saturated Kids by Cheryl Sacks
and Arlyn Lawrence (released by NavPress in June) will be such a book. It has
the potential for powerful spiritual change in the lives of families and
churches.

Saturated Kids’ “Introduction” puts it clearly: “It’s a book to help
parents and spiritual leaders learn how to saturate the kids in their lives in
prayer—then teach those kids how to pray for themselves.” It delivers what it
says it is going to!
This is a book that every church needs dozens of copies to
circulate around. Parents and grandparents who want to pray for their children
and grandchildren more effectively—and who want to raise children hungry for
God--need it. Children’s workers who long to nurture the spiritual lives of
their children better need to read it. Prayer leaders who want to improve the
generational mix of prayer in their churches need to read it. Even elders,
pastoral staff and senior pastors need to read it. Everyone will benefit from Prayer Saturated Kids. Why?
The answer comes from the book’s definition of a prayer
saturate kid: “a child who is prayed for, prayed with, and taught to pray.
Prayer-saturated kids are full of faith—equipped and released to pray in ways
that change the world and the people around them.”
Today studies show that more than 80% of churched kids walk
away from church after high school. They don’t see faith as real. Prayer Saturated Kids can make a
difference in that statistic!
Some of the unique features are its explanation of finding a
child’s original design and praying it into him or her, the power of praying
blessings over our children, and a practical section on healing prayers for
hurting families. It also has a powerful chapter on closing generational doors

While the first seven chapters are especially meaningful to

children in revival. Its message: let these kids who are hungry for God be
turned loose on your congregation and community!
You may think my comments are hype, but I honestly have not
gotten this excited about a book in some time! You need to get multiple copies.
